Symptoms

According to the CDC, many people with gonorrhea have no symptoms, which can lead to delays in seeking treatment and increases in transmission. <h4>CHLAMYDIA</h4>Chlamydia is a common STD that can cause infection among both men and women. It can cause permanent damage to a woman's reproductive system. This can make it difficult or impossible to get pregnant later. Chlamydia can also cause a potentially fatal ectopic pregnancy (pregnancy that occurs outside the womb).<h3> </h3><h4>SYPHILIS</h4>Syphilis is a bacterial infection usually spread by sexual contact. The disease starts as a painless sore — typically on the genitals, rectum or mouth. Syphilis spreads from person to person via skin or mucous membrane contact with these sore.<h3> </h3><h4>HIV (1&amp;2)</h4>HIV meaning human immunodeficiency virus, is a virus spread via the exposure to bodily fluids, such as sexual intercourse or blood contact. The virus manifests by attacking the immune system, causing more susceptibility to all other illnesses and infections. HIV can progress to a condition called AIDS. <h4>HEPATITIS B&amp;C</h4>Hepatitis is a viral infection that affects the liver. Hepatitis B is spread through blood, semen, and other bodily fluids, while hepatitis C is primarily spread through blood-to-blood contact. This virus can cause serious liver damage, including cirrhosis and liver cancer, and can be chronic infections if left untreated. Vaccines are available to prevent Hepatitis B and are part of the immunization schedule. <h4>URINE MICROSCOPY AND CULTURE</h4>Urine is a diagnostic test that examines the physical, chemical, and microscopic properties of urine. It is a common medical test used to evaluate a person's overall health, identify certain medical conditions, and monitor the treatment of certain diseases. Urinalysis can help detect a variety of conditions, such as urinary tract infections, kidney disease, diabetes, and liver problems. The urine is further cultured in a medium to check for any growth or colonization from microorganisms like Bacteria and Fungi, which helps to diagnose and properly treat Urinary tract infections. <h3>HERPES SIMPLEX VIRUS 1&amp;2&nbsp;</h3>Herpes is a viral infection that causes outbreaks of painful blisters or sores on the mouth or genitals. It is spread through direct contact with the affected area during an outbreak, as well as through sexual contact. There are two types of herpes simplex virus.Type 1 (HSV-1) mostly spreads by oral contact and causes infections in or around the mouth (oral herpes or cold sores). It can also cause genital herpes. Most adults are infected with HSV-1.Type 2 (HSV-2) spreads by sexual contact and causes genital herpes. The infection can cause painful blisters or ulcers that can recur over time. Medicines can reduce symptoms but can’t cure the infection. Symptoms can include painful, recurring blisters or ulcers. New infections may cause fever, body aches and swollen lymph nodes.Common oral herpes symptoms include blisters (cold sores) or open sores (ulcers) in or around the mouth or lips while common genital herpes symptoms include bumps, blisters, or open sores (ulcers) around the genitals or anus.These sores and blisters are typically painful. Blisters may break open, ooze and then crust over.&nbsp;During their first infection, people may experience:&nbsp;<ul><li>- Fever</li><li>- Body aches</li><li>- Sore throat (oral herpes)</li><li>- Headache</li><li>- Swollen lymph nodes near the infection.</li></ul> While there is no cure for herpes, antiviral medications can help manage symptoms and reduce the risk of transmission.&nbsp;
